With only the national championship game remaining in the college football season, eyes shift towards the hardwood as conference place in college basketball is just getting underway.
ESPN’s hoops edition of ‘College Gameday’ has formally announced its first destination for the season. Personalities Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg and Jay Bilas will join host Rece Davis as the Gameday crew heads up to East Lansing for the January 23rd game between the Michigan State and Maryland.

Both Big Ten powerhouses are currently ranked in the top five nationally. Maryland is off to a 3-0 start in conference play while the Spartans are 2-1 following a win on Thursday night against Illinois.
