As you have probably heard by now, Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson injured his knee during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings and there are reports that he will miss some time.
With Johnson likely out, Lions GM Bob Quinn will have an important decision to make in terms of replacing his starting running back.

One of those options (my personal favorite since before Kerryon’s injury) is to trade the Miami Dolphins for Kenyan Drake. Not only could Drake fill in nicely until Johnson is back, but he would also be a nice complement to Kerryon moving forward, especially if the Lions are smart enough to lessen his workload.
But, what would Drake cost the Lions?
Well, personally, I thought it would a fourth-round pick or so to get the deal done, but according to Erik Schlitt of LionsWire, he has been told that a conditional 5th or 6th round pick could get it done.

Wow. If Drake can be had for a 5th or 6th round pick, Quinn had better be on the phone with the Dolphins ASAP.
