On Wednesday, a Kentucky grand jury did not indict three Louisville police officers who were allegedly involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor. Because of that, you can bet there will be more protests throughout the country in the coming days and weeks.
But could those protests leak into the NFL?

According to Detroit Lions DE Trey Flowers, it is possible that those protests and demonstrations spill into the NFL this week.
“It could lead to whatever it leads to,” Flowers said. “It’s just as far as what people feel and how people feel as far as what can be affected, so I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know.”
Flowers said that the Breonna Taylor news was not discussed in the Lions locker room on Wednesday but that it could be talked about on Thursday.
“I really just kind of heard that so I ain’t really got any thoughts on that,” Flowers said. “But it’s definitely tough. Obviously, for her family, I feel like it’s something that they probably don’t think that they received justice and that’s what you really (want). My heart breaks for them, but like I said, I just kind of really heard it, so I ain’t really got any thoughts on that.”
Nation, do you think the Lions and other NFL teams could actually skip their Week 3 games in order to protest?
