Could the Detroit Lions make a big splash and trade for the NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year before the 2020 NFL trade deadline passes?

Well, according to a report from Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the New England Patriots could be looking to trade CB Stephon Gilmore.
As noted by Dov Kleiman, the Patriots had conversations about trading Gilmore during the offseason and he could be available again.

In his report, Breer noted that he highly doubts the Patriots could get a first-round pick for Gilmore and that a second or third-round pick seemed reasonable.
We know all about Bob Quinn’s and Matt Patricia’s love for players from their former team and you can bet that they will at least have the discussion about trading for Gilmore to bolster their secondary.
Nation, would you give up a second-round pick for Gilmore?
