Well, according to Jones, a trade for Stafford (or anyone for that matter), is “unlikely.” He said making a trade is of little interest to him. “We’ve got our quarterback in Andy Dalton.”
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, whose 78th birthday is today, said on @1053thefan it is “unlikely” the team trades for a quarterback following Dak Prescott’s injury. Little interest to him. “We’ve got our quarterback in Andy Dalton.” Dalton gives team ability to run offense as is.

Jones added that Dak should be ready to go by next spring.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on @1053thefan QB Dak Prescott (ankle) “should be ready to go for our spring work, the latter part of the spring work. …Knowing Dak and his makeup, he’ll be back out there soon.” Doctors told Jones “should be no problem” for April-early May return
