Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones comments on trading for new starting QB

Ever since the moment Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a compound ankle fracture, there has been a ton of speculation as to whether or not Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would give the Detroit Lions a call about trading for Matthew Stafford.

Well, according to Jones, a trade for Stafford (or anyone for that matter), is “unlikely.” He said making a trade is of little interest to him. “We’ve got our quarterback in Andy Dalton.”

Jones added that Dak should be ready to go by next spring.

As we have said, Stafford is not going anywhere anytime soon.
