Dan Campbell calls out QB Jared Goff following debacle vs. Bengals [Video]

The Detroit Lions had an opportunity to win their first game of the season on Sunday when they hosted the Cincinnati Bengals at Ford Field.

Unfortunately, that opportunity died quickly as the Bengals embarrassed the Lions 34-11.

Following the game, Campbell blamed himself first and foremost but when pressed, he also called out QB Jared Goff to step up.

“I don’t feel like we can accurately judge him one way or another,” Campbell said. “I feel he needs to step up more than he has.”

Campbell added that the Lions receivers have to put themselves in the correct spots to help out Goff.

  1. Dan campbell: you need to take a look at the michigan state Spartans vs indiana. Horrible 1st half. But they kept chopping, fighting for the next play. Listen to what Mel Tucker said to a reporter post game. You have to FIGHT TOGETHER! You might be enlightened by it. The whole team should listen or watch the post game comments.
