On Thursday night, the Detroit Pistons used the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft to select Cade Cunningham out of Oklahoma State.
Prior to practice on Friday, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell opened up his presser by congratulating the Pistons on their newest addition.
“It was pretty cool for the Pistons,” Campbell said. “It’s a good time to be in Detroit.”
Campbell also took a moment to wish QB David Blough’s wife, Mellissa, good luck in her 400m hurdles race tonight in the Tokyo Olympics.
