On Thursday, Dan Campbell was officially announced as head coach of the Detroit Lions.
During his introductory press conference, Campbell blew everyone away with his unparalleled passion for football and for his opportunity to coach the Lions.
While speaking to the media, Campbell fave Lions’ fans the message they have been waiting to hear for a very long time.
“I wanted this job. … Bad. … This place has been kicked, it’s been battered, it’s been bruised. I can give you coachspeak all day long, none of that matters — you’ve had enough of that shit.
“This team is going to take on the identity of this city.”
