On Sunday afternoon, the Detroit Lions went into MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and they walked away with a huge 31-18 win over the New York Giants. Unfortunately, CB Jeff Okudah was forced to leave the game in the first half and he was placed in concussion protocol. During the third quarter, Okudah tweeted out, “I’m good,” and after the conclusion of the game, Lions head coach Dan Campbell gave an update.
What did Dan Campbell say about Jeff Okudah?
The Lions may have beaten the Giants, but it sounds like they lost Okudah for their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
After the conclusion of the game, Campbell spoke to reporters and he revealed that Okudah will not be able to play against the Bills.
“Yeah, he’ll be out,” Campbell said. “I can’t imagine, I’m pretty sure, we just talked about it, and I don’t think there’s any way possible he can play.”
The Lions will take on the Bills at Ford Field on Thursday afternoon beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. With a win, the Lions would move to 5-6 on the season.
Nation, do you think the Lions have a legit chance to beat the Bills on Thanksgiving Day?
