The Detroit Lions handled business on Sunday, taking down the Cleveland Browns 34-10 at Ford Field to move to 3-1 on the season. But if you thought head coach Dan Campbell would simply be all smiles after the win, think again.
Inside the locker room, Campbell praised his players for getting the job done but made it clear that he wasn’t satisfied with how it happened.
“Now, it wasn’t good enough, if I’m being totally honest with you,” Campbell said. “There’s so many areas where we shot ourselves in the foot, and we cannot do that. Okay? I’m just being honest. Now, it’s not gonna ruin our Sunday, or the rest of the week, alright? I can promise you that. Proud of you guys for the win itself, alright?”
After addressing the team, Campbell handed out two game balls. The first went to Aidan Hutchinson, who terrorized Cleveland’s offensive line with two sacks, four QB hits, and a forced fumble. The second went to Kalif Raymond, who electrified the home crowd with a 65-yard punt return touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the game.

It was another example of Campbell’s balance, celebrating success while making sure his players know the standard is even higher.
Next up, the Lions hit the road for a Week 5 showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, where Campbell will look for a more complete performance from his team.
