For the first time in what seems like forever, the Detroit Lions will have a new starting quarterback heading into a season.
That quarterback is Jared Goff, who was acquired via a trade that sent Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams.
On Friday, prior to the Lions' third training camp practice, Campbell spoke to the media about how far Goff has come since the spring and how he has taken ownership of the Lions' offense.
“He's been good,” Campbell said. “You can see how much more comfortable he is and how much more he has taken ownership of this offense.”
