Dan Campbell not optimistic about injuries to Jason Cabinda, Shane Zylstra [Video]

The Detroit Lions, already having been decimated by injuries as well as several cases of COVID-19 during the trying 2021 season, lost two more members of the team this afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons.

Both Jason Cabinda and Shane Zylstra departed the game with knee injuries, and according to head coach Dan Campbell, their status for next week isn’t looking promising.

“Both of them knee injuries,” Campbell stated during his post-game presser. “I don’t know for sure, I’d say right now, both of them don’t look very favorable for next week.”

Cabinda left the game in the 1st quarter following his second reception, while Zylstra was carted off the field in obvious pain in the 3rd quarter.

The Lions will take on the Seattle Seahawks in the Pacific Northwest next week on January 2.
