Dan Campbell responds to question about Detroit Lions drafting QB Malik Willis

If you happened to follow Senior Bowl Week in Mobile, Alabama, you certainly heard the name ‘Malik Willis‘ thrown around hundreds of times.

Willis, who played his college ball at Liberty, has been my QB1 for the entire season and after his Senior Bowl week, many others now feel the same way.

During an interview with Tom Pelissero, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell was asked the question, “how badly do you want to draft Malik Willis?”

Campbell is generally very straightforward and honest with his answers but he decided to keep things close to his vest this time around.

From Lions Wire:

“I’m not going to answer that,” Campbell said with a smile. The coach then added, “I like a lot of guys here but he’s a good player.”

Now, as much as I love Malik Willis, I am not yet convinced that he is worth the No. 2 overall pick and I highly doubt he drops to No. 32.

But if he does…..
