Well, this seems important.
On Tuesday, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell was in Indianapolis for the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine and while speaking to reporters, he revealed a pretty important change for the upcoming season.
In fact, Campbell said schematic changes are in the works for the Lions defense.
“We’re altering kind of what we do defensively,” Dan Campbell said here in Indy. “We’ll be a little more of a fourth-down (linemen) type, if you will.”
Campbell also told reporters that plans to add one more coach to the mix for the 2022 season.
“I still have one move to make that I think is going to happen, but I don’t want to say anything about it yet”
Dan Campbell said the Lions will still operate with a lot of odd-front principles, but with more even fronts mixed in. Also said 1 more coaching addition is expected.
