For those of you keeping close tabs on whether or not Matthew Stafford will be the starting quarterback for the Detroit Lions in 2021, here is the latest.
On Friday evening, new Lions’ head coach Matt Campbell joined Mitch Albom on “The Mitch Albom Show” and he confirmed that he has spoken to Stafford since getting hired. Campbell reiterated that he and Lions GM Brad Holmes have yet to dive into evaluating the roster and it is premature to say what they are going to do.
As noted by Michael Stets, Campbell also heaped more praise on Stafford during his talk with Albom.
