Dan Campbell weighs in on former Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson

This coming weekend, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will officially be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Prior to Thursday's walk-through practice, Lions head coach Dan Campbell, who played two years with Johnson in Detroit, was asked about thoughts on Calvin going to the Hall of Fame.

“This is the type of the guy that if he called for the ball every play, you're just like ‘yeah, I get it,” Campbell said. “I would call for the ball every time too.' “If there's ever a dude that deserves to go into the HOF, it's him.”

It is truly sad that Johnson will likely go through his Hall of Fame speech and not mention the Lions organization.
