Oh, what could have been.

The Detroit Lions inexplicably gave up two consecutive scores to the Bears, evaporating their lead. One desperate final march down the field nearly yielded a miracle winning play – but it wasn't meant to be.
Rookie D'Andre Swift just missed out on what would have been his second career touchdown with just six seconds remaining in the game, dropping the pass from Matthew Stafford. You could hear the collective hearts of Lions fans everywhere sinking with the ball as it slipped out of his hands in the end zone.
Radio broadcaster Dan Miller summed up the feelings of the fans with his call of the play:
you hear it in Dan Miller's call: The agony bellowed here is more than the duty of describing a dropped pass. Behind his wail is the bemoaning sorrow of the mocking specters of heartbreaks past; the annual affirmation of a fandom's star-crossed condition https://t.co/iFbbr5ba2T
