Dan Orlovsky says Detroit Lions wasted Matthew Stafford’s “Hall of Fame-caliber” career [VIDEO]

The Matthew Stafford era is over in the Motor City, as the long-tenured quarterback and the Detroit Lions will be parting ways.

Never one to shy away from his opinion, former Lions QB and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky believes the Lions wasted Stafford’s career, and that he will instantly make whichever franchise he joins into a Super Bowl contender.

“It’s disappointing end for his career in Detroit,” Orlovsky said. “He wanted to be the guy who brought that city a championship. They just wasted a Hall of Fame caliber career in Detroit by mismanagement of rosters and all that.”

“Whatever teams are in the DeShaun Watson running, they should be in the Stafford conversation as well.”
