You have heard it over and over again about how dedicated NFL coaches and coordinators are to their craft. We have heard countless stories about these people sleeping in their offices and spending just about every second of their time preparing for the next game.
But what we have not heard before is a coordinator falling asleep in the middle of a game!
According to Dan Orlovsky, that is exactly what happened while he was a backup quarterback for the Detroit Lions.
Orlovsky told Chris Long of the Green Light podcast that while he was a backup with the Lions, one of his offensive coordinators once fell asleep in the middle of the game and missed the start of an offensive series.
Take a listen.
