According to reports, the Detroit Tigers have placed LHP Daniel Norris on the 10-day Injured List.
The reason for Norris being placed on the Injured List was not released per the MLB/PA agreement but Norris himself has admitted to testing positive for COVID-19.
“I don’t care if you say I’ve got COVID,” Norris said in a text Thursday. “People thinking I’m hurt again is tough to swallow since it’s been the story of my career. I am healthy and ready to rock as soon as I get some good news.”
Norris is expected to be a mainstay in the Tigers starting rotation in 2020.
