Darius Slay calls out Detroit Lions following Matthew Stafford trade

Matthew Stafford, the greatest quarterback in the history of the Detroit Lions is no longer a member of the team as he has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams.

Following the trade, Stafford’s former teammate Darius Slay took to Twitter to call out the Lions.

“I wonder y Detroit didn’t do that for Barry an Calvin,” Slay tweeted.

Slay, of course, is talking about Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson, who both decided to walk away from the Lions while they still had gas left in the tank.

Is this low-hanging fruit for Slay or is he right?
