Darius Slay comments on if he will be at Detroit Lions’ training camp

It is no mystery that Detroit Lions’ Pro Bowl CB Darius Slay wants a contract extension.

But the question is, will Slay, who still has two years left of on his current contract, be at training camp if a deal is not worked out with the Lions beforehand?

Slay recently joined The Pride Podcast and he was asked whether or not he would be at training camp when it gets underway later this summer. His reply was noncommittal.

”We’ll see, time will tell,” Slay said. “I’ll let my agent and the organization handle all that.”

Though Slay did not give a straight answer, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that he wants a new deal as soon as possible.
