On Tuesday, the Detroit Lions announced that they were retaining both Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn for the 2020 campaign, despite the team going 9-20-1 over the past two seasons.

A day later, Lions cornerback Darius Slay was asked for his thoughts on Patricia returning for another season and he really did not have much to say, though he certainly did not seem too excited about it.

There has been plenty of speculation that Slay, who has been outspoken about some of the moves the Lions have made, including trading Quadre Diggs earlier in the season, will be traded prior to the 2020 season.
