On Sunday Night Football, the Detroit Lions dominated the New England Patriots from start to finish on way to a 26-10 victory.
During the game, Lions cornerback Darius Slay picked off a pass thrown by Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady to all but seal the deal for Detroit.

To say Slay was a bit excited about picking off the future Hall of Famer would be a severe understatement. Take a look at what Slay had to say after the game about the interception.

“I saw that thing, I said, ‘Ooooh, I have me one,’” Slay said excitedly in the locker room after the game. “I was already thinking, ‘It’s from the GOAT? I get this from the GOAT?’ When he done and retired, I’m gonna keep that ball and … I’m gonna ask him to sign it. He’s the GOAT and there’s nothing like having the GOAT’s signature on your picked ball. I doubt if he’d do it, but if he do want to do it, I would gladly send it to him so he could sign that thing.”
Brady may sign the ball someday, but he may need to cool down a bit after the Lions’ defense frustrated him all night long.

On Sunday Night Football, the Detroit Lions came together and pulled off one the (dare we say it) biggest wins in recent team history as they defeated the New England Patriots 26-10 in front of a ruckus crowd at Ford Field.
Following the game, Lions’ head coach Matt Patricia (who had just picked up his first win) entered the locker room and after getting big hugs from Rod Wood and Bob Quinn, and then having a group of players swarm him, he addressed his team. Patricia gave the credit to his players and told them to enjoy the win but that on Monday, the focus would shift to the Dallas Cowboys.
After Patricia was finished speaking, Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford presented his head coach with the game ball in a moment Patricia is sure to remember forever.
