At least for the time being, Darius Slay is still a member of the Detroit Lions.
The 2019 NFL trade deadline has officially passed and the Lions decided to hold on to their Pro Bowl cornerback, rather than trading him to the highest bidder.
Just moments ago, Slay's wife, Jennifer, tweeted out the following message showing her excitement about staying in Detroit.

Slay missed the Lions Week 8 game against the New York Giants with a hamstring issue, let's hope he can return to the field in Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders.
