In my opinion, cornerback is not the Detroit Lions TOP need to address this offseason, but it is certainly one of the top 3.
That being said, news just broke that the Washington Redskins are releasing CB Josh Norman and he could be a player that Lions GM Bob Quinn considers bringing in for the 2020 season.

Norman, who is 32, had a down 2019 season with the Redskins after being very solid for the previous handful of years.
So, the question is, should the Detroit Lions bring in Josh Norman to be Darius Slay‘s wingman in 2020?
In my opinion, the ONLY way I would bring Norman in would be if he is willing to take a 1-year deal worth a very small amount of cash and that is unlikely to happen. He is on the wrong end of 30 (wrong end of 32, to be honest) and Father Time is undefeated. Norman is no longer a great CB and he will continue to get worse from here on out.
So, when you see other reporters suggesting the Lions sign Norman, just shake your head and look the other way!
