The Detroit Red Wings went into the second period against the Anaheim Ducks with a 1-0 lead. This was courtesy of Tyler Bertuzzi’s 2nd goal of the season. They’ll go into the second period up a goal as well, thanks to Darren Helm.

The Red Wings let in a goal during the 2nd period, when Anthony Mantha missed a poke check. He ended up on the outside of Hampus Lindholm, who put one past Jimmy Howard to tie the game 1-1. Helm took matters into his own hands after that.

After putting a shot on goaltender John Gibson, he corralled his own rebound and put the second shot in, taking the Red Wings’ second 1-goal lead of the night, 2-1. It was a gritty, trash goal, but Detroit will take what they can get. LET’S GO WINGS!
