UPDATE:
According to Ian Rapoport, the Detroit Lions will officially hire Dan Campbell to be their next head coach on Wednesday. Rapoport notes that the reason for the delay is that Campbell wants to do exit interviews with his current players.
Update: While Dan Campbell will be the #Lions coach, it won’t be official until Wednesday because he wants to do exit interviews with his current #Saints players first. Classy move. https://t.co/F0tp1AFPBI

FROM SUNDAY NIGHT:
We have had a pretty good idea since Friday that the Detroit Lions are going to hire New Orleans Saints assistant head coach Dan Campbell to be their next head coach.
Now, the Saints have been eliminated from the playoffs and some details have emerged as to when we can expect an official announcement from the Lions.
Now that New Orleans has been eliminated, the Lions are expected to hire Saints’ Asst HC/TEs Dan Campbell as their next HC, per sources. The two sides still need to work out a deal, but it is not considered an obstacle, and Campbell will be the Lions next head coach.

According to Jason La Canfora, the negotiation between the Lions and Campbell will be wrapped up early this week.
Lions were waiting to finalize a deal with Saints assistant HC Dan Campbell. Don't have to wait any longer. That negotiation will be wrapped up early this week, leaving Chargers, Texans and Eagles in need of a head coach

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press has guessed that the Lions could bring Campbell in on Tuesday and then make things official on Thursday, though that is pure speculation at this point.
Thursday? Just a guess. Inauguration is Wednesday. Maybe they can get him in Tuesday. https://t.co/Q9LZsh021e
