From 2002-2015, Dave Dombrowski served as both president and general manager of our Detroit Tigers before being hired by the Boston Red Sox to be their president and GM.
In 2019, Dombrowski was fired by the Red Sox, despite the team winning the 2018 World Series.
Now, according to a report from Jayson Stark of The Athletic, Dombrowski is on the verge of landing a new gig.
On Thursday afternoon, Stark reported that the Philadelphia Phillies are in the advanced stages of talks to hire Dombrowski as their new president of baseball operations.
Nation, will Dombrowski be able to win a championship with the Phillies?
