The Detroit Lions will once again be without the services of starting quarterback Matthew Stafford for their annual Thanksgiving matchup this week.
Backup Jeff Driskel has stepped in and started the past three games for Detroit, all losses. And now he’s banged up with a sore hamstring.

To that end, the Lions could potentially be starting third-string quarterback David Blough against the Bears.

For those of you unfamiliar with Blough, he signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was then traded to the Lions in exchange for a swap of conditional seventh round draft picks in 2022 on August 30, 2019.
