On Thursday, news broke that the Detroit Lions designated LB DeAndre Levy as a June 1 cut, ending his eight years with the team.
Levy posted the following message on his Instagram account, thanking his teammates and the city of Detroit. He also made sure to mention the “questionable officiating” he was part of as a member of the Lions.

It was just a few years ago that Levy was playing like one of the best LB’s in the NFL. Unfortunately, he was never able to get back to his old self after he suffered a hip injury that caused him to miss most of the 2015 season.
