Dear Bob Quinn,
We know you are pretty busy right now with draft preparations but what we are going to propose will change your draft strategy, so hear us out.
When looking up and down your current roster, it does not take long to realize the strengths and weaknesses. One of those weaknesses happens to be at the cornerback position.
Sure, you have Darius Slay and Justin Coleman, but after that, the cupboards are bare.
But never fear Bob, we have you covered.

All you have to do is pick up the phone and call up Denver Bronco’s GM John Elway and make him an offer he cannot refuse for cornerback Chris Harris.
Harris is clearly unhappy in Denver and he either wants a new contract, or he wants to be traded, whichever comes first.
Bob, this is your chance to make a BOLD move!
Can you imagine a secondary which includes Slay on one side, Harris on the other, and Coleman playing in the slot?
Well, we can and it is GLORIOUS!
Guess what else, Bob? Thanks to Erik Schlitt at Lions Wire, you do not even have to come up with an offer because he has already taken care of that.
All you have to do is offer the Broncos the No. 8 overall pick and Taylor Decker in exchange for their No. 10 overall pick and Harris, there is no way Elway says no. As Schlitt notes in his piece, the Broncos are looking for an offensive tackle and Decker could be their guy.
So, Bob, what do you say? Are you willing to make the big moves to push the Detroit Lions into immediate contenders? Or are you happy being mediocre?
You know the answer to those questions. Now pick up the phone.
Sincerely,
Long-suffering Detroit Lions’ fans
