Dear D’Andre,
On Sunday, you had an opportunity to make a play that would have won the game for the Detroit Lions and things did not go your way.
I am sure that you feel awful about not coming through for your teammates (and the fans) but the NFL, just like life, is all about ups and downs, and how we bounce back when something does not go our way is all that matters.
You were a great football player prior to Sunday’s game and you will be a great player moving forward.
I am writing this letter on behalf of Detroit Lions Nation and we want you to know that we all support you and we have your back. You are part of The Pride now and you will be for a long time.
You will make plenty of great plays for the Lions moving forward and it all starts with putting the past in the past and moving forward.
Please do not allow one play to define you.
