Dear Coach Beilein,
On behalf of Michigan fans from across the nation, I would like to thank you for everything you have done for the Wolverines’ basketball program.
Michigan has always been known as a football school and that will probably never change, but over the past 12 years, you have built the Wolverines’ basketball program into something we can all be proud of.
Not only did you lead the team to successful seasons but you did it the right way and you did it with pure class and for that, we are thankful.
Today’s news certainly came as a shock to Wolverines’ Nation as you will be missed more than you will ever know but at the same time, we wish you the best of luck on your next challenge.
We will all be rooting for your success with the Cleveland Cavaliers (except for when you play the Pistons) but you will always be a Michigan Wolverine.
