The Detroit Lions made two major personnel moves on Saturday afternoon, moving on from head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn following several underwhelming performances.

In the team’s first Zoom media session following the moves on Saturday, offensive coordinator Cory Undlin admitted that it was their own shortcomings that led to the major changes within the organization.
“I’ve enjoyed every second I’ve been here with these guys, and I don’t see that changing for the next five (games),” he said. “We didn’t play good enough, and hence one of our coworkers lost his job.”
According to Undlin, he never felt held back while coaching under Patricia, and that there wouldn’t be any drastic defensive changes in the team’s final five games of the season.
