Deion Sanders takes shot at Detroit Lions

It’s clear that NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is not a fan of the Detroit Lions. Sanders, who now works as an analyst for the NFL Network, took a shot at the Lions for the second consecutive season leading up to the Super Bowl.

“I don’t watch Detroit a lot,” Sanders said. “They don’t give me a reason to.”

Maybe Sanders does not realize the Lions have been to the playoffs three times since 2011. In comparison, is precious Dallas Cowboys have only been to the playoffs twice since 2011.

Last season, Sanders ruffled the feathers of Lions fans when he compared Matthew Stafford to Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler.

“Ain’t Matthew Stafford and Jay Cutler the same dude?” Sanders said prior to last year’s Super Bowl. When asked to repeat himself, Sanders did not back down, “You heard me. I didn’t stutter. Isn’t Matthew Stafford and Jay Cutler the same person?”

Something tells us Sanders would back down from that comment if asked about Stafford and how he played this past season.
