We all know the Joe Louis Arena will never host another Detroit Red Wings game.
We know the JLA is being demolished.
What we did not know is how emotional we would be when that demolition actually started.

The Little Caesars Arena is magnificent but the Joe Louis Arena is iconic and will be missed.
