Derek Hill scores from second on routine fly ball

In Sunday afternoon's matchup at Comerica Park, the Detroit Tigers found themselves trailing the Tampa Bay Rays in the eighth inning five to two. Four straight hits later the Tigers had pulled to within one run after a Miguel Cabrera single with the bases loaded. Cabrera was replaced by speedster Derek Hill, who moved to second on a fielder's choice by Jeimer Candelario. The very next batter, Harold Castro lined out sharply to right field, setting the stage for Hill to flash his wheels…
