There are high expectations for the MICHIGAN STATE basketball team this coming season.
In fact, MICHIGAN STATE is the No. 1 team in the nation to start the season.
This week, MICHIGAN STATE opens up their 2019-2020 campaign on Tuesday night when they take on No. 2 Kentucky in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.
You would think that by this point, MICHIGAN STATE would be getting the respect they deserve, especially from local news outlets.
Unfortunately, that is not the case as the Detroit Free Press obviously got a bit confused as they used the Michigan logo for MICHIGAN STATE.
Check it out.

Now we know this was an honest mistake but we are sure MSU will use this as bulletin board material because that’s what they do in East Lansing!
At least they apologized for the mishap.
Wow. We screwed this up. Big time. No explanation/excuse/reason is adequate to tell why it happened. Point blank, we flat-out messed up here. Our apologies on this one.
