Detroit Lions to announce NFL Draft picks from unique location

This is a pretty cool idea

The NFL Draft is just one day away and the league has announced that NFL teams will announce their Day 3 draft picks between round 4-6 from unique locations.

According to the press release from the NFL, the Detroit Lions will be announcing their picks from the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.

From NFL:

Beginning on Saturday, April 27th at 12:00 PM ET, NFL teams will announce their Day 3 selections for Rounds 4 through 6 of the 2019 NFL Draft from special local locations of their choosing. Clubs will make their picks from across the country and around the world, including military bases, state landmarks, and major attractions.

To honor the NFL’s 100th season, Round 6 will also highlight the League’s 13 “Original Towns,” and with that, its 14 charter teams. To do so, select pick announcements on Day 3 will be coming from these historic cities. All picks in Round 7 will be made on-site in Nashville by local fans.
