Detroit Lions announce Thanksgiving Day entertainment

On Thursday, the Detroit Lions announced the entertainment lineup for their Thanksgiving Day game against the Minnesota Vikings and it includes a local touch.

Singing the national anthem prior to this year’s game will be 18-time Grammy Award winner and Motown legend, Aretha Franklin. Franklin, who is 74-years-old, is one of the best-selling artists of all-time having sold over 75 million records.

Performing at halftime will be multi platinum pop star Andy Grammer. Grammer’s most popular song to date is “Honey, I’m Good” which got as high as No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
