If you have been following along with what I’ve written for the past 5 months or so you are well aware that I am HUGE on BYU quarterback Zach Wilson.
In fact, I’ve gone as far as to refer to Wilson as the next Patrick Mahomes. Now, that comparison may be a bit hyperbolic but is shows just how highly I think of Wilson and his chances of being a star in the NFL.
Unfortunately, it’s seems like just about everyone else has jumped on the bus, which means Wilson will almost certainly be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Because of that, the only way our Detroit Lions will land Wilson is if they are willing to sell the farm to move all the way up to No. 2, which is extremely unlikely.
That being said, the Lions are reportedly doing their due diligence on Wilson as both Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are in Provo for his pro day.
More names rolling in: Lions GM Brad Holmes and HC Dan Campbell are also in Provo for BYU QB Zach Wilson's Pro Day.
