The Detroit Lions 2021 regular season is officially in the books and though they finished with a 3-13-1 record, it was not without some excitement along the way.
Some of that excitement was due to Lions head coach Dan Campbell’s aggressive nature on fourth down.
In fact, on Sunday, the Lions broke a couple of NFL records as they recorded the most fourth-down conversions (21) and the most fourth-down attempts (41) in a single season in league history.
The @Lions now own the record for most fourth-down conversions (21) and most fourth-down attempts (41) in a single season in #NFL history.#OnePride pic.twitter.com/iSUVaVOfcc
