Detroit Lions bring back WR Maurice Alexander

The roller coaster continues for Detroit Lions wide receiver/kick return man Maurice Alexander. Just moments ago, the Lions took to Twitter to announce they have re-signed Alexander to their practice squad. Alexander has been waived and re-signed by the Lions multiple times this season, and it comes as no surprise that he cleared waivers and is back on the practice squad. Depending on who is healthy and who is not for the Lions in Week 8, Alexander could soon find himself on the active roster once again.

What has Maurice Alexander done so far this season?

So far this season with the Lions, Alexander, who tore up the USFL as a kick returner, has returned five kicks for 129 yards (average of 25.8) with a long of 47 yards.

It is no surprise that Alexander cleared waivers and is back with the Lions for Week 8.
