Will Darius Slay be a member of the Detroit Lions when the 2020 season rolls around?
That is without a doubt one of the biggest questions Lions GM Bob Quinn has to address this coming offseason as Slay is going into the final year of his current contract.

Earlier in the week, Slay was asked if he wanted to play for the Lions moving forward and he was pretty clear that he wants to stay in Detroit.
Following the Lions loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Slay was asked again about whether or not he wants to stay in the Motor City. He immediately doubled down on what he said earlier this week but then added he will be “Gucci” wherever he is playing.
“I mean, of course I want to. But if it ain’t, I’m Gucci,” Slay said. “I’m blessed. To be honest, I’m one of the best in this game. I ain’t going to lose no sleep about none of that. I just play ball. I mean, just check my resume. It say a lot and I’m going to continue to keep building it because I cherish my name on the back, my kids watch it and they look up to me and so that’s just how I look at it. I’m going to dominate wherever I be.”
Slay clearly wants a contract extension from the Lions and I would not be surprised at all to see him hold out if he does not get what he believes he deserves. That being said, the Lions could decide to trade Slay rather than deal with a holdout that could potentially go into the 2020 season.
Nation, do you think Darius Slay will be a Detroit Lion in 2020?
