It happens in just about every sport. When it becomes obvious that a team has little to no shot at competing for a championship, or even making the playoffs, some “fans” begin rooting for their team to lose.

Now, I would argue that people who choose to go that route and actively root for their team to tank are losers themselves, but that is a topic for another day.
Following the Detroit Lions 17-3 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Lions defensive tackle Damon Harrison tweeted out a message to a fan who is upset about the outcome of Sunday’s game.
Check it out.
*Note: The original tweet from the fan was deleted but you can imagine it had something to do with rooting for the Lions to tank.
Take that tank and shove it up your…have a good night my man 🤫 #OnePride detroit vs everybody https://t.co/9OG2qWdupb

Nation, do you agree with Harrison or are you actually rooting for the Detroit Lions to lose from here on out?

LOOK: Colts’ TE Eric Ebron fires back at local Detroit Lions’ blog after ‘drop’ tweet
Ever since the day Eric Ebron was drafted by the Detroit Lions, he has been public enemy No. 1 for many fans and even some of the local media members.
After all, Ebron was selected with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, ahead of players like pro bowl players such as Odell Beckham Jr. and Aaron Donald. But instead of living up to his draft slot, Ebron became known for the guy who dropped a lot of passes.
Following the conclusion of the 2017 season, the Lions made it known that they would be moving on from Ebron, making him a free agent. As you probably have heard, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts prior to the 2018 campaign and up to this point, he has had one hell of a season.
*For the record, I was extremely pissed when Bob Quinn made the decision to part way with Ebron.
In fact, through 14 weeks, the former Lion has 12 touchdown catches, which *ties him with Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers (at the time of this post) for the most TD catches in the NFL.
Despite his success, this season, many Lions fans have still taken shots at Ebron whenever they see an opportunity.
That was no different on Sunday when the Ebron dropped a pass during a 24-21 win over the Houston Texans.
