The good news? The Detroit Lions defeated the Philadelphia Eagles and improved to 2-0-1 on the season.
The bad news? More injuries, namely cornerback Darius Slay, who left the afternoon affair with an apparent hamstring injury and did not return.

When asked if he’d be playing next week, Slay was non-committal.
Darius Slay said "I'm good" when asked how he felt and "we'll see" if he'll play next week against Kansas City. https://t.co/2UGXENsABe

Head coach Matt Patricia didn’t have an update from team doctors on Slay’s condition (or that of Mike Daniels).
“I didn’t get a chance to catch them,” Patricia said during his post-game press conference. “I know the doctors were talking to those guys, so I did not get a chance to talk to them.”
