Detroit Lions defensive MVP for 1st half of 2021

If you are a fan of the Detroit Lions, it has not been pretty so far in 2021. In fact, we are now at the midway point (well, as close as we can be in a 17-game season) and the Lions are 0-8.

That being said, our annual midseason awards must go on, so here we are!

This one makes me really happy because heading into the 2021 season, I projected that Tracy Walker would be the Lions most improved player on the defensive side of the ball and he has been exactly that.

Despite the defense struggling overall, Walker has been consistent both against the run and against the pass and he has been a leader on the field.

Expect for Walker to get a nice contract extension at some point in the not-too-distant future.

Nation, what do you think?
