Detroit Lions dominate Chicago Bears in lopsided victory, earn highest game grade of season

    The Detroit Lions dominated the Chicago Bears in week 17 of the NFL Season, winning 41-10. The Lions earned their highest overall game grade, a 90.3, and topped several team metrics. Individual player grades were also high for the Lions.

    Top offense performers for the Lions included running back D'Andre Swift, who forced six missed tackles, and Jamall Williams, who ran for a career-high 144 yards and had the most yards after contact of any Lions running back in at least the last six seasons. Wright and Amon-Ra St. Brown also performed well in the passing game and their run blocking.

    On defense, Aidan Hutchinson had a standout game with seven QB pressures and six QB hurries, in addition to an interception and fumble recovery. James Houston had three sacks and earned a 91.6 pass-rush grade. The Lions' secondary also had strong performances, with Will Harris achieving the highest single-game coverage grade of his career and Melifonwu not allowing a completion and recording a sack in 26 snaps.

    The Lions team hit season-high grades in several categories, including offense, receiving, running, and pass rush. The Bears had their lowest overall team grade of the season at 44.3.
